TC Chill/Fever Partnership
We are excited to announce the collaborative partnership of Triple Crown Colorado Chill (TC Chill) basketball program and
Rocky Mountain Fever for high school girls club basketball serving the tri-state area of Colorado, Wyoming and Nebraska.
Both programs focus on total player development on and off the basketball court and are excited to be working together to provide enhanced opportunities for high school players.
We recognized the fact that our area does not have the population of skilled high school players to be competing for the same players in our programs.
We have agreed to work together to offer the absolute best opportunities for high school girls!
Feel free to call and talk to Mike or Shannon listed below with any questions.
TC Chill Overview
Varsity and JV players are encouraged to attend tryouts for TC Chill on March 17th & 18th.
One or two TC Chill teams will be formed based on the number of qualified, skilled players trying out.
Players on the TC Chill team will play in five or six College Showcase Tournaments (mostly out of state) along with other local tournaments.
Coach Mike Portelance will be coaching the TC Chill team and he has an impressive coaching resume that includes middle school, high school and collegiate coaching experience.

RM Fever Overview
Players that do not make a TC Chill team are likely a better fit for a Rocky Mountain Fever team.
Some players may not wish to make a commitment to the TC Chill schedule, would prefer to play with friends in the Fever program or Fever coaches or they are still developing their skills and are not quite ready for the TC Chill team - then Rocky Mountain Fever would be a better fit.
Top HS Fever teams will play in three to four College Showcase Tournaments along with other local tournaments.
Players that are interested in playing at the collegiate level will now receive support from Fever Coaches and Directors along with TC Chill – so it is a bonus for them!
